The Georgia National Fair Farm/City Days Parade is this Saturday, October 7th!  The parade recognizes and salutes the farm/agriculture/city relationship which contributes so much to Perry’s growth and continued progress.  This is also a great kick-off for the fair.  The parade will line up on Washington Street in front of Perry City Hall at 9:00 a.m.  It will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. and proceed through downtown Perry on Main Street, south on General Courtney Hodges Boulevard, east on Larry Walker Parkway, stopping at the North Gate of the Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter.  The Kiwanis Club of Perry and the 28th Georgia National Fair are sponsoring the parade.  As always, there will be lots of color, clowns, clapping, clanging, & banging to brighten the day for thousands of Georgians and out-of-state visitors.  Everyone is welcome.

Enjoy a delicious breakfast of pancakes, sausage, coffee and juice at the Perry United Methodist Church during the Perry Dogwood Festival.  This fundraiser is presented by the Kiwanis Club of Perry and supports our local youth.  The Kiwanis Club provides college scholarships to over 15 students from Perry each year.  $5.00 per plate.
