The Perry Area Welcome Center has proudly served hundreds of thousands of visitors since it was established in September 1991. The Welcome Center is a locally operated facility and is recognized by the State of Georgia’s regional visitor information center program. The center receives some grant funding from the State of Georgia but is primarily funded by a local hotel/motel tax collected by the City of Perry. Legally, we are a composite part of the City of Perry.
