Perry’s first-ever Festival of Trees will be held Thursday, Nov. 30th through Sunday, Dec. 3rd at the Perry Welcome Center at 101 General Courtney Hodges Boulevard. There will be 20 decorated 7.5-foot artificial trees for viewing and silent auction. Each tree is sponsored by local nonprofit, civic, and community groups. Delightful gingerbread houses will be submitted for a People’s Choice Award. Also on display will be a private collection of antique German nutcrackers. There will be a Christmas Spirits adult evening on Friday from 5:30 to 7:00 pm with live music, refreshments, and a wreath-making demonstration by local interior designer & decorator Cory Jones. Sunday will feature a children’s toy-building opportunity at Santa’s Workshop. A photographer will be there to capture visits with Santa, and face painting will be available. Hours are:
