Starting at 9 p.m. on New Year’s Eve on the Courthouse Square in historic downtown Perry, the party begins with live music and dancing. Not only can you come “shake your tail feathers” with Bob the Buzzard, the Perry Buzzard Drop will offer spirits sold on-site, along with New Year’s novelty and souvenir items.
Free to the public, the Perry Buzzard Drop is an occasion that is open to everyone—it’s New Year’s Eve! You can dress up or dress down, the important thing is that you come to downtown Perry to celebrate!
Downtown restaurants will feature food and drink specials. So, plan to come early for dinner and stay late for the celebration.
The Countdown will begin just before midnight, with Mayor Faircloth ringing in the New Year as Bob makes his descent onto the Courthouse Square. With live music, confetti and a balloon release, get ready for a Party in Perry as we celebrate the New Year!
