Request for Proposals Based on your needs and requirements, the CVB will contact local hoteliers and gather proposals with rates and amenities for you to choose from.
Site inspections The CVB will coordinate site inspections of local hotels and points of interests if needed.
Room Availability If your event demands a large majority of the local hotel rooms or if there are other large events in Perry during the same time as your convention, the CVB will serve as a local point of contact to help your attendees find available hotel rooms up to 4 weeks prior to the event.
Goody Bags The CVB can provide a limited number of giveaways or poly bags for your event registration packets or to hand out at your welcome table. Quantities and availability may vary.
Activities The CVB can help you organize
special programs, factory tours, community service projects, side trips, luncheons, shopping outings, etc. that compliment your local convention or event. Guided, paid tours of area attractions are available through our local tour company.
Advance Publicity Perry information brochures can be supplied as a part of pre-convention mailings. DVD, media kits, logos, and photos are available for use in your publications to help heighten interest and attract attendees. A CVB staff member may also be able to attend your convention the preceding year to promote your Perry meeting.
Welcome Letters & Address The CVB can provide you with welcome letters for your event program from the Mayor, CVB, Chamber of Commerce and even the Governor of Georgia if desired. Also, if you would like a local official to formally address your group during your welcome ceremony, the CVB can assist you.
Local Judges, Speakers, etc In cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce, the CVB can help you find local area speakers, judges, and experts on various topics that you may need for break-out sessions and contests that are part of your event.
Welcome Table / Information Booth Brochures on local attractions, dining and entertainment options and other information will be available during your conference registration if needed. Our welcome center is conveniently located near the West entrance of the Georgia National Fairgrounds so attendees can stop in and get information during their visit. For large events, we are available to set up an on-site information booth if needed.
Facilities Booking of space at the Georgia National Fairgrounds will be exclusively handled by the marketing department of that facility. The CVB will gladly assist your group with any off site meeting or facility needs.
