Perry is located along Georgia's Antique Trail. A treasure trove of antiques awaits you on this convenient travel loop south of Atlanta, Georgia's Antiques Trail includes shopping in 18 beautiful communities in Georgia's Historic Heartland travel region where you'll find delightful shopping venues offering a wide range of goods from unique collectibles to the finest in period antiques.

Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter
This state-of-the-art center is custom designed for livestock and horse shows, circuses, concerts, meetings, trade shows, fairs, sporting events...a state-owned multi-purpose complex open all year. Although designed to promote agriculture, youth activities and homemaking, all types of events are hosted at the 628-acre site. The Georgia National Fair is held for 10 days in early October of each year with competitive exhibits, commercial exhibits and a wide range of animal shows.

We stay open late Friday and Saturday to serve dinner. We are located at I-75 South, Exit 134 at South Perry Parkway.

Historic Walking Tour and Sam Nunn Museum
Enjoy a casual day of discovering Perry's treasures with our self-guided walking tour. The tour begins at the New Perry Hotel, and tour guide brochures can be picked up at the Perry Welcome Center or the New Perry Hotel.
Located on the tour in the historic Board of Education Building is an exhibit honoring retired Senator Sam Nunn.

Henderson Village
Visit Henderson Village, located 8 miles south of Perry, and enjoy the gradens, tropical birds, horse-drawn carriage rides, the Gameland hunting preserve, Wimberly Event Center, deluxe accomodations, and a gourmet dining experience. Golf and Recreation
Perry offers three great golf courses: Perry Country Club, Houston Lake Country Club, and Houston Springs. Perry Country Club, located on North Davis Drive (478-987-1033), offers an 18-hole championship golf course with very little elevation change. The Houston Lake Country Club, located just north of Perry on Houston Lake Road (478-218-5252), is Middle Georgia's premiere golf facility and offers a 6,700 yard, par 72, 18 hole golf course. Houston Springs is Perry's newest course, located 2 miles off Exit 136 and is an 18 hole course that appeals to golfers of all skill levels.

Museum Of Aviation
Visit the fastest growing military aviation museum in the Southeast. Situated on a beautiful 43 acre site, there are over 85 historical aircraft in its collection. Exhibits of aviation memorabilia date from World War 1 through modern times. Included among the displays are an original Norden bombsight, the "secret weapon of WW2": Rosie the Riveter; the WW1 and WW2 ace Gen. Frank "Monk" Hunter collection; Georgia's Black Eagles; German Luftwaffe items and the General Robert L. Scott (author of "God is My Co-Pilot") collection. Don't miss the newly retired SR-71 "Blackbird" spy plane. A snack bar, I-MAX Aviation Theater and Aviation Gift Shop are also featured in this 100,000 square foot museum. There is no admission fee to the museum.

Andersonville National Cemetery and Historic Site
Abundantly rich in history, the site includes 13,669 graves in the Andersonville National Cemetery, Prisoner of War Memorials, a partial reconstruction of the prison stockade of the Confederate "Camp Sumter" and a Civil War Museum. Also, be sure to visit the Civil War Village of Andersonville, Pioneer Farm and Drummer Boy Museum.

Massee Lane Gardens
Home Of the American Camellia Society
Stroll along brick pathways through nine acres of camellias under towering pines. Enjoy the garden greenhouse, the Japanese Koi pond, and the rose gazebo. Massee Lane Gardens feature azaleas, dogwoods, narcissus, iris, daylilies, roses and of course...the most beautiful camellias in the world.
The Edward Marshall Boehm porcelain collection - the largest of its kind in the world, featuring magnificent works of art in porcelain - is housed in the Stevens Taylor Gallery and the Annabelle Lundy Fetterman Education Museum. Be sure to take in the museum, gallery and gift shop!
